Hi, I’m Patrick and I’ve been there…

I know what it’s like to look like you’re thriving on the outside while quietly trying to hold it all together on the inside. I spent over a decade in the advertising industry before founding a mental health tech startup. I did Ironman triathlons, gave keynotes, and was always the dependable one people turned to.

And still, I couldn’t shake the feeling that it wasn’t enough. I always had to do more.

Every win was fleeting. I couldn’t relax. I always felt behind, worried that I’d eventually be “found out.”

I tried everything to fix myself—therapy, books, podcasts, personal development. It helped a bit, but I stayed stuck in the same exhausting patterns.

What I didn’t realize then is that the problem wasn’t my effort or mindset. It was how my nervous system had adapted to protect myself.

Growing up with an alcoholic father, an emotionally immature mother, and surviving childhood sexual abuse, my system was carrying patterns no mindset shift could override. Once I learned how to work directly with my nervous system, I started seeing the changes I had been seeking for so long. The self-doubt, perfectionism, and pressure finally started to lift. I found a deep, steady confidence. Life, at work and at home, became enjoyable again.

In speaking with other successful leaders and entrepreneurs, I realized I wasn’t the only one who had this experience. So I became the guide I needed years ago, someone who understands the invisible weight of always needing to hold it all together at work and how it quietly shapes your confidence, decision-making, and leadership.

The unstuck starter series

Great, but is this really going to work?

I get it, you’ve already invested so much in your personal growth only to find yourself feeling stuck again. It sucks. Perhaps you’re concerned about the cost, or maybe you’re worried that your schedule is already so full that you don’t have the time to fully commit to the process (hello perfectionism!). Also, how is this different than therapy?

First, it’s highly personalized. As a trauma-trained coach with a business background and expertise in nervous system regulation, we let your nervous system lead the way and show us what it needs in order to get unstuck. My training allows me to teach you to interpret the signs and signals your nervous system is showing you in real time. We then find the specific tools and techniques that work for your specific system to rewire the patterns keeping you stuck. This is not a one-size-fits-all approach. It’s an experience tailored to you and your needs.

Regarding time, many high achievers get stuck in loops of “if I can’t do it perfectly then I won’t start,” which is a pattern that plays out with the growth and healing process as well. That’s the very pattern we get to break together. What if it’s not all-or-nothing? What if you’re just one Zoom call away from the next level of success, and that’s the only step you need to take?

Lastly, this differs from therapy in that most therapists are trained in diagnostic frameworks, which often results in you getting labeled with anxiety, depression, ADHD, panic disorder, etc. You’ve talked about it. You’ve named the patterns. You might even know exactly why you’re struggling, but nothing has changed. That’s the point where most of my clients find me. My training in Somatic Experiencing allows me to work directly with your nervous system, below your “thinking brain,” and help you shift the patterns underneath the anxiety, overthinking, perfectionism, and exhaustion.
